The East Station Hostel opened in October 2015 and proves to be one of the best starting points in a Budapest exploration. The structure is perfectly located right in the city, 140 m from Keleti Railway Station and 1.5 km from Heroes' Square. Most sights are conveniently nearby with public transportation easily accessible. Day or night, transport is very well served for quick access to anywhere in the city right when you need it most. Visit the State Opera House at 1.9 km from the hostel, St. Stephen's Basilica at 2.2 km away among many other places in Budapest.

The hostel offers four kinds of rooms that are newly renovated, spacious, and will make any traveler comfortable. There's the 2 bit Double bed, 1 bit 3-bedroom composed of 1 bit Double bed and a 2 bit Single bed, and 1 bit 6-bedroom composed of 3 bit bunk beds. These are all non-smoking rooms and have provisions for a shared kitchenette, toilet and bathroom, while lockers can be used in the 4 and 6-person rooms. Lovely pictures of the rooms show just how nice and neat the environment is, such that you can almost feel how cozy it is to stay at the East Station Hostel.

Free Wi-Fi access to guests is available in all the rooms and the Old Fregatt Pub, a fun place which grants guests the opportunity for some good wine and to enjoy national Hungarian spirits tasting. Upon arrival, East Station Hostel guests receive a warm welcome with a nice drink! In addition to that, the hostel generously gives a 5% discount from total consumption for every guest which makes for a fantastic Pub experience. Guests are welcomed in this neighborhood of the Hostel where reception and luggage storage services are found.

The friendly receptionists are very helpful and would be happy to assist you with whatever you need. They will provide you assistance as well regarding the hostel's program offerings including sightseeing, pub touring, and bike hiring. East Station Hostel services cover airport transfer, and the nearest one is 15 km away which is Budapest Liszt Ferenc Airport. They also offer shuttle service and have on-site shared lounge or TV area facility. Prices vary, but typically include VAT, sheets and towels. Children under the age of 5 staying in their parents' room are not charged for accommodation.
